Dynamics NAV / BC 2nd Line Support & SQL Server

Job Type : Permanent, Full Time

Key role for a 2nd Line Support Analyst with strong Dynamics NAV / Business Central Support expertise and decent technical experience with SQL Server, T-SQL triggers and stored procedures, database administration and integration technology. To £42k based on site between Manchester and Oldham in a really cool architectural office space.

Our client is a specialist Dynamics NAV / Business Central consultancy who work in a very niche market. The role is office based but will require occasional visits to client sites (when allowed) working alongside the Service Delivery Manager to brief clients on measures they need to put in place to allow support to run efficiently, and to brief them on processes.

Using your knowledge of Dynamics NAV / Dynamics BC, SQL Server and Transact SQL, you will manage the full life cycle of each support enquiry ensuring all tickets are logged, provide accurate reporting information, provide performance reports for clients, record time accurately and approve timesheets against support codes, notify the management when client support requests are software, hardware, licence or training change requests, and escalate and resolve support and service requests within agreed SLAs.

You will work with the NAV and Business Central Consultants and Developers to resolve issues and with the engagement manager to assist with producing client SLA reports.

They are looking for someone who is ambitious and keen to learn more, who can build strong relationships with clients, and has excellent analytical, technical, business process and problem solving skills. You can handle multiple tickets, and keep a cool head.

A solid background in support of Dynamics NAV / Business Central is essential along with SQL Server, DBA knowledge and using T-SQL for stored procedures and triggers. Ideally you will have worked with cloud technologies, and any experience of inventory control and management would be a bonus, as this is their speciality area of NAV. You are passionate about technologies and keen to increase your skills in design, configuration, development, database administration and consultancy.

Certifications in SQL Server, T-SQL, and / or integrations etc. would be a bonus.

Great job for someone who is hungry to increase their skill set and become a NAV expert. Contact Jake |King or Carolyn MacLurg at Ambis Resourcing
