Digital Image QC Clerk
Job Type : Contract, Temporary, Full Time
Salary : £9.50/hour
Our client is a leading scanning business and provides one of the most comprehensive, multi-document scanning and microfilming services in the UK. They are recruiting for a reliable person with an immediate start.
The successful candidate will be quality control checking scanned digital images where care and attention to detail is required handling heritage materials to ensure the materials QC ready.
Salary: £9.50 per hour PAYE full time ongoing
Hours of work Monday-Thursday 9.00am to 5.00pm and Friday 9.00am to 3.30pm
Key tasks
Checking digital images for image quality
* Lightness / darkness
* Missing pages
* Distorted or obscured images
Repair and re-scan of sub-standard images
Replacement of sub-standard images
* Locating original documents
* Re-scanning on desktop scanner
* Replacing document in correct order
You will require basic computer skills with a keen eye for detail for this role. Ideally you will have experience of QC as part of your previous employment
