We are managing a superb vacancy for our Leeds City Centre client, who are looking to recruit a Design Coordinator within their Own Brand department. In this role you will work alongside key internal stakeholders, as well as external agencies and suppliers, to deliver projects from concept through to launch.

The Design Coordinator role is a varied and exciting opportunity to work with a highly reputable business… one day you could be working on a major brand redesign, and the next you may be implementing key legislative change or launching a new product! You will ultimately be an integral part of bringing products to life for our client's key customers.

Key areas of responsibility:

Managing projects along the brands critical path, driving processes forward and ensuring key milestones are hit.
Working closely with key stakeholders and facilitating weekly project meetings to ensure project timings are protected.
Working closely with, and sometimes challenging agency partners and suppliers, to ensure they deliver a high level of service and work to project briefs and timings.
You will manage your own Categories but also work cross functionally with other team members to support where needed.We are looking for candidates with proven project and stakeholder management experience, who are able to manage tasks simultaneously with excellent attention to detail. You will have a positive, proactive attitude and be eager to work within a close, supportive team.

The right candidate for the Design Coordinator role will have:

Proven experience in managing critical paths and project milestones.
Experience within Retail or FMCG is desired, but not essential.
A can-do attitude.
Excellent communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders.
A high level of confidence to hold stakeholders to account.
The ability to work independently and to own initiative to see tasks through to completion.
