Data Scientist
Job Type : Contract, Full Time
Salary : £35 – £40/hour
Data Scientist- London- 12 Months- £35-£40 ph PAYE
A global technology company are looking for an experienced Data Scientist to join their team on an initial 12 month assignment. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of analysing and delivering insights from data.
Responsibilities:
Apply analytical skills to complex quantitative problems, presenting and driving actions from insights to key stakeholders both reactively and proactively
Develop deep understanding of advertising and measure products, analysing current performance and developing new strategies for optimisation
Work closely with Marketing Science teams, to identify, analyse and scale best practices
Identify strategic levers for improving performance
Present polished findings and recommendations directly to various stakeholders
Elevate key themes to product research teams that should be focused on deeper investigation or alpha testing of new opportunitiesSkills/ Experience:
5+ years experience in a similar role
Bachelor's degree in an analytical field
Experience with SQL
Experience doing statistical analysis using tolls such as Python, R, MATLAB, SPSS, SAS, State etc.
Experience delivering and driving action based on data- driven insights
Experience communicating concepts to non- technical audiences
Experience influencing and partnering with stakeholders across organisations
Experience with experimental design
Experience working with machine learning algorithms and AI Systems
