Credit Controller
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £26000 – £28000/annum
Summary
As a Credit Controller you will be primarily focusing on the Sales Ledgers for the business.
You will be establishing and maintaining relationships with those customers, liaising with them to ensure prompt and timely payment of invoices due.
The ideal candidate will have credit control experience, however candidates with an accounting background such as Sales Ledger Clerk, Purchase Ledger Clerk or Customer Service will be considered.
Must be able to communicate at all levels and be able to work independently, but also as part of a busy Accounting Team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Solely responsible for controlling and maintaining the AR Ledgers
* Point of contact for all aspects within these ledgers – GBP/USD/EUR/AUD (Currencies utilised)
* Chasing VAT/DUTY invoices
* Daily review and interrogation of key accounts
* Cash Collection – Telephone Calls / Email chasers
* Account Reconciliations
* Query issuance and review
* Managing contras with the AP Team
* Weekly Cashflow Forecasting
* Weekly Aged Debt Report Collation, identifying target accounts and actions taken/required
* Working to strict deadlines, in accordance with KPIs
* Regular internal communication with various Departments, to ensure any accounting issues are maintained and resolved effectively
* Account maintenance and credit limit review, ensuring accounts trading within agreed terms
* Implement Stop Procedure for delinquent accounts
* Ad hoc accounting duties
