Credit Control Team Leader
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £35000 – £37000/annum 20% bonus
Cedar are partnered exclusively with a global entertainment brand for the search of a Credit Control Team Leader.
Based at their impressive offices in London 3 days per week, with the remainder of the week working from home. This employer promotes flexible working.
Reporting to the Credit Control Manager, you will support the leadership of the credit control function across various global regions along with driving efficiencies to continually improve and evolve internal controls.
Duties –
Line management of three Collectors
Manage collections for a set number of events
Event reporting to highlight risk and minimise exposure to bad debt
Sole responsibility for the collection of portfolio of approximately 200 live accounts
Maximising collections by achieving monthly cash targets, minimising aged debt, bad debt and DSO
Taking credit card payments via online portal and setting up Direct Debits and negotiating Payment Plans
Running the cancellation invoice report and escalating outstanding invoices to third party for collections
Creating invoice disputes on database
Experience –
Previous experience working as a Credit Control Team Leader or similar supervisory role
Extensive experience in credit control (> 3 years)
Vast experience of account reconciliations and working within a fast paced, high volume environment
A desire to progress career and support direct reports in their growth
Experience within exhibitions industry – advantageous
Previous use of Microsoft Dynamics AX – advantageous
CICIM qualification – advantageous
Excellent communicator with expert eye for detail
