DESCRIPTION:
Eldon Housing Association are excited to be opening a brand-new extra care housing scheme in East Grinstead. It is constructed over 3 floors and offers modern, bright social spaces and beautiful landscaped gardens.
Lingfield Lodge will comprise of 49 units and aims to provide high quality, secure and accessible housing for older people with care needs, disabilities, or limited mobility.
The scheme is due to open in late August 2021, and we are looking for a passionate, caring, and professional individual to join our team in the role of Cook.
Key Responsibilities:
As Cook, in liaison with the Chef you will be responsible for assisting in the provision of a high-quality catering service that will enhance the everyday life of our residents. You will be highly skilled in all aspects of cooking, food preparation and kitchen hygiene as well as assisting the Chef in menu planning, budgeting and supervising staff.
Key Skills and Experience:
You will have proven catering experience in a commercial kitchen and ideally have worked within a supervisory role. You must be qualified to CIEH Level 2 Food Safety Certificate (or equivalent) and be supportive of a charitable, caring organisations aims and values.
