Salary : £40000 – £45000/annum pension, company car /car allowance

M-Tech engineering Ltd are a medium sized steelwork fabrication company that specialises in the supply and installation of bespoke staircases working predominantly in the London Area and are looking to employ a contracts manager.
The principle purpose of this role is to oversee our Projects, liaise with Workshop and Site Fitters. The role will be varied and deadline driven, so excellent prioritisation and organisational skills are essential. You must be a confident communicator, proficient with Microsoft Office, with proven experience in a General Management role, ideally within a steelwork environment.
Responsibilities
* Oversee the management of projects to ensure they are completed on time and within budget
* Site measuring
* Identify and resolve problems of a commercial or contractual nature
* Contract review
* Liaise with customers to up-date on progress
* Deal with customer queries/complaints in a prompt and professional manner
Skills, Qualifications and Experience
* Previous experience in a steelwork environment is essential
* Demonstrate leadership and effective team management experience
* Proven engineering and fabrication knowledge/experience/background
* Excellent knowledge of welding and sheet metal techniques
* Ability to read and work from detailed engineering drawings
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
* Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) and the ability to liaise closely with clients and staff
* Ability to promote effective teamwork
* Attention to detail
* Problem solving skills
* Able to work systematically to achieve deadlines
* Ability to work under pressure, both on own initiative and as part of a busy team
* Ability to handle multiple varied projects through to completion
* Flexible approach to meet the demands of the business
* Professional, confident, responsible, conscientious, punctual, highly organised and self-motivated
* Experience in architectural fabrication would be benificial in securing the role.
Ideally you will be in possession of an SMSTS Certificate and ideally a Black Site Managers CSCS Card
