Within our endeavour to further grow our business we are looking for a Continuous Improvement Manager to provide leadership and drive for continuous improvement projects and activities across the Business units, with the purpose of developing best processes and working methods, through the involvement and participation of all our people.
Key Responsibilities for our Continuous Improvement Manager:
Own & improve the CI plan, working cross functionally to ensure all departments contribute and assist with improvements in their own areas
Ensure PIPS link to the business strategy, department strategies and Group strategies to ensure improvements continually add value
Working in conjunction with the manufacturing teams to ensure operational efficiencies are maximized & practices are fit for purpose
Review working practices with customers, suppliers & between departments to identify new ways of working which can add value or reduce costs
Ensure mechanisms are in place to drive employee involvement within continuous improvement projects continually review their effectiveness and explore new options which link to & support the site culture plan
Where possible quantify savings/profit improvements and measure achievement of these improvements against targets
Ensure effective communication with the business to celebrate success and/or promote further engagement with improvement projects
Be a key influencer and ambassador for Continuous Improvement, culture, and activity
Adapting and delivering training on Continuous Improvement tools to colleagues at all levels.
Candidate requirements for our Continuous Improvement Manager:
Ideally worked within the Food Industry or FMCG
Proven experience within a similar role
Motivated and enthusiastic
Excellent communication skill both written and verbally
Encourages and motivates others
Adapts to change within a fast-paced environment
Foresight and ability to be fluid
Ability to identify or eliminate nonvalue adding activity
Able to monitor and measure effectively.
Hours of work:
40 per week
