Coeliac UK currently has an exciting opportunity for a Content Producer to join them based in High Wycombe. You will join on a permanent, full time basis working 35hrs per week. In return you will receive a competitive salary of £24k-£26k based on experience plus 36 days holiday a year including bank holidays.

The Content Producer role:

Coeliac UK charity has a mission to improve the lives of people who need to live without gluten.  You will plan, write, produce and commission content across our social media, website, blog and other online and offline channels, in support of the charity’s key objectives and campaigns

Key responsibilities of the Content Producer:

– Working alongside the Brand and Content Officer, act as internal brand ambassador/guardian to ensure the charity’s visual and verbal corporate identity is correctly applied, developed and protected across all channels

– Produce editorial and design content across on and offline channels including social media, website and blog

– Take a lead on digital content, leading monthly content planning meetings, preparing monthly content plans, and managing content schedules

– Commission and write content, subedit copy, and source images

– Use Canva and Adobe creative suite (InDesign, Photoshop) to create a range of design assets to support our content

– Work closely with the Marketing Communications and Digital teams to coordinate the content production process and deliver a consistent, audience-first experience

– Support further development of the website and day to day management of content and images as a key communication tool and service platform for members

– Work with a range of third parties including branding agencies, video companies, printers and designers

– Collaborate with other teams to monitor trends in information requested and ensure content is developed

– Support the Brand and Content Officer in developing content and managing the production of the biannual member magazine, quarterly newsletter, information packs, leaflets and other print materials

Knowledge, Skills and Experience required for the Content Producer:

– Motivated, cooperative team player with excellent communication skills

– Thrives in fast paced environment with ability to work to multiple deadlines, manage own workload and take initiative

– Educated to degree standard or equivalent experience

– At least 2 years copywriting experience in a fast-paced copywriting, content writing or similar role

– Excellent copywriting, copyediting and proofreading skills

– Ability to quickly learn and apply brand, tone of voice and design principles consistently across all areas of work

– Creative, audience centred approach to content production – with a finger on the pulse of what’s trending for our gluten free community and the ability to tailor content to our different audiences, channels and user journeys

– Experience managing projects from planning to delivery, working with multiple stakeholders, agencies and contractors within a team environment

– Experience of working across a variety of print and digital channels

– Basic understanding of Canva or Adobe Creative Suite to create a range of design assets for social media, website, email and print, and to provide design direction and feedback to agencies and freelancers

– Understanding of corporate and stakeholder communication, and confidence to present ideas and feedback appropriately

– Good IT skills MS Word, MS Outlook, Workplace, (url removed)

– Understanding of web CMS desirable
