Skillection are currently recruiting on the behalf of their precision engineering client based in Halifax West Yorkshire.
They are seeking a full skilled apprentice trained or time served CNC Miller.
The successful candidate will generate CNC machine programmes for various components from detailed drawings.
Set and Operate CNC Machines.
Optimise machine utilisation and performance.
Achieve the required levels of output to maintain on time deadlines.
Achieve the required levels of quality as required per ours and customer requirements.
Ensure safe working practices and 5S standards are maintained and improved on.
Receive instructions as appropriate, to ensure that the correct work is expedited to the required levels of workmanship.
Experienced required in Heidenhain & Bridgeport controls.
EDM experience would be advantageous.
