Contek are working with a high precision engineering company in Kings Lynn are currently seeking a CNC Machinist Hurco/other controls, reporting to the General Manager. This role is for an expanding company who have a fantastic future ahead and exciting prospects.
My client has been in existence for 40 years – and specialises in making high precision parts for scientific instruments but also has significant business in specialist automotive, aerospace, and defense, to name but a few markets.
CNC Improvers will be considered who have the right attitude and want to learn and develop! If you have experience with 3 axis milling or if someone has the right attitude and aptitude, and is looking for a long term career, they are prepared to train you.
Main Duties
* Reading, understanding and working to correct spec of drawings
* Programming, setting and Operating CNC Milling machines using Hurco (Winmax) Controls or diversify with different controls.
* Working to tight tolerances.
* Using 3-5 axis machines.
8:00am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday, with the opportunity for overtime when the need arises (quite often), although overtime is never compulsory.Salary will be discussed at interview.
if you have had experience on the following machines and want to learn milling then this is an option – Mazak Integrex, Mazak SQT, Colchester Tornado and manual machines
