Our client has a growing order book and new CNC machines and as such need a CNC Programmer / Machinist who ideally be based in and around Leicester.
As a CNC Programmer / Machinist you would be programming mainly HAAS VF XYZ milling machines installing new programs and operating the machines. They also have other manual machines that would be to your advantage if you know how to operate these too. You must have experience in milling and turning parts.
Desirable skills as a CNC Programmer / Machinist
· Experience in CNC Programming (NOT just editing) and operating
· Able to convert drawings to programs
· Must be willing to do overtime
· HAAS VF/11 VF/9 – Bridgeport – Hurco – Hardinge – Colchester
· Ability to work to tight deadlines
· Ability to work under pressure
· Must have a high attention to detail
