Our client is looking for an experienced chef de partie to join their professional and friendly team. WE are looking for a Chef de Partie to join an awarding winning bistro. We are looking for an experienced Chef with the proven ability to work under pressure, especially during peak seasons. Our kitchen team are friendly and hardworking, as a business we welcome Chef’s to share ideas and add input to our menu changes.
As the Chef de Partie your duties will be:
Responsible for a designated section of the kitchen
Assist Head Chef with both culinary and administrative tasks
Designing and preparing high end food
Preparation and service of Food in line with SFBB Guidelines
Assisting with Menus & Ideas where required
Maintaining a safe and hygienic kitchen environment
Communicating with General Manager
Working closely with management and Front of House to provide an excellent service
The successful Chef de Partie will:
2 years experience essential
Have a positive attitude towards your work
Be passionate about good food & great hospitality
Understand the importance of Teamwork and support all colleagues in order to meet the demands of the business
Remain Calm under pressure
Have High Personal Presentation Standards
Be Self Motivated & enthusiastic
Be able to work independently and help solve problems as they arise
Understand importance of attention to detail, and completing tasks to a high standard
