Chef/Cook

Salary : £9.42/hour
We are looking to recruit a Cook to work in a well-established private school within the County Durham area.
This is an amazing opportunity for someone who wants to work term time only.
The purpose of the role is to support the Catering Manager and Head Chefs in delivering a high quality food and menu service during term time and at hospitality events.
Your duties include taking responsibility for the preparation, presentation and serving of all meals to an exceptional standard and catering for functions and events.
You will be responsible for cooking meals on site for approx. 800 students alongside the Head Chefs and the rest of the team.
The successful candidate would start in January and would need to undergo an enhanced DBS. It would be an advantage if you already have one on the update service.
You will have/be:
* Catering experience essential

It would be desirable to have certificates in:
* Health and Safety
* Fire Safety Awareness
* Food Hygiene
* Child Protection and Safeguarding
