Salary : £24000 – £25000/annum

My client is currently looking for an experienced chef to assist in the day to day duties in the kitchen:

Responsibilities:

* Preparing, cooking and presenting dishes and running your own section

* Managing and training any demi-chef de parties or commis working with you

* Helping the sous chef and head chef to develop new dishes and menus

* Ensuring you maintain the high standards of food hygiene and follow the rules of health and safety

* Monitoring portion and waste control to maintain profit margins

* Be able to work on their own initiative and unsupervised at times

* NVQ Level 2 desirable but not essential

* 40 hours per week

* Straight shifts

* Meals/uniform provided and laundered
