My client in Lutterworth who are going from strength to strength are looking for a strong CDP who is looking to take the next step up to Sous Chef/Head Chef in the near future. You will work underneath the Executive chef and also a long side a friendly motivated team who are striving to be the best.
About the role:
To prepare food to a consistently high quality in line with menu specifications
To suggest daily specials incorporating seasonal ingredients
To assist with training and development of all departmental staff
To liaise with the Executive Chef to ensure exceptional service levels are consistently delivered to guests.
To accept and check deliveries from agreed suppliers to ensure that they are to the specification requested.
To ensure all equipment is maintained in a clean working condition
To maintain hygiene standards in areas of responsibility
To monitor stock levels within own department and order using the correct procedures
To monitor stock rotation
About you:
Be able to take control of a function kitchen
You will already be a Chef in a Restaurant or Hotel using fresh ingredients
Able to work unsupervised and be confident communicator
Highly motivated and focused. Positive can do attitude
You must have own transport due to location
