Catering Manager
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £23000 – £25000/annum
We are currently recruiting for a Catering Manager in the Millom area
The role is a permanent role working in a school – 38 week per year role working Monday – Friday 37.5 hours
Job Responsibilities
• Food production and service delivery of two outlets serving lunch and snacks for 400 to 500 students
• Leading a team of 5 ensuring production, service and cleaning tasks are completed
• Champion excellent customer service and effectively implement all customer communication tools
• Ordering and stock control using company nominated suppliers
• Implement company food concepts in line with brand standard and recipe specifications
• Control production and waste management
• Admin duties including financial reporting, food management, ordering / receipting, payroll and bespoke cashless system reporting
• Ensure strict compliance with company Hygiene and Safety requirements
• Compliance with Allergen and Ingredient laws using company systems and labelling tools
• Implement and promote company food concepts in line with company Brand Standard
• Overall ownership and accountability of operational management and financial performance of contract
• Oversee the performance evaluation process for staff on site to ensure this is conducted in a timely manner and based on agreed objectives and targets. Annual reviews for all staff are completed.
Key Requirements
• Previous Culinary Management experience in the catering/food services or retail industry
• Excellent numeracy skills; strong written and verbal skills
• Food Hygiene Certificate Level 3
