Car Assembly Technician/Mechanic – Darlington – Full Time Permanent Role

Evolution are a car restoration company based in Darlington, we take some of the most beautiful cars ever made and re-build them from scratch. We keep the beauty of these cars but update them, providing modern chassis, drive train, braking systems and suspension.
Every part of the car is updated and improved and fabricated on site by master craftsmen. We are looking to increase production of these beautiful machines and re launch the business worldwide.
We are moving to a new 30,000 square foot custom designed facility in Darlington complete with cutting edge manufacturing machinery and modern new assembly lines so that we can continue making the world’s best cars and car parts with the highest precision and quality at scale.
We are currently looking for a Car Assembly Technician to join Evolution E-Types Ltd on a permanent basis to join our passionate and hardworking team.
What are we looking for?
* Previous experience working on classic and vintage vehicles would be beneficial
* Strong work ethic with willingness to learn and develop
* Reliable, conscientious with an excellent attention to detail
* Good communication skills with customers, suppliers and team members
* Experienced in all aspects of car assembly with high levels of attention to detail is a must
* Driver’s licence is desirable
What are the main responsibilities?
* Complete restoration and re-assembly work to a high standard
* Complete tasks given within allowable time frames
* Restoration of classic cars, predominantly E-type focused
* Routine servicing, inspection and fault finding
