ROLE DESCRIPTION
This position will suit someone who is eager to engage and understand a fast-moving fresh produce business. If you have experience at modelling processes and conducting interviews with staff to find out how they work then you could be an ideal fit. This role is aimed at providing additional strength to our Systems team by formally mapping out our end-to-end processes in a careful and unified manner. This central process library will then be used across the business to understand how we work in an increasingly complex and exciting industry. After the initial mapping has been completed, the role will move into a curation and analysis phase where new processes and business change are documented and added to the overall map. You will have the freedom to push an agenda of change based on priorities and analysis of gaps and opportunities.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Working in the Systems team documenting our clients’ end-to-end business processes
· Identify control points & checks, KPIs, and who is responsible and has authority over key business processes
· Working with business users to develop department-specific standard operating procedures
· Highlighting gaps and making suggestions to managers and business users where there are improvements to be made
KEY ACTIVITIES
· Workflow documentation using modelling tools such as draw.io or Visio
· Development of clear and detailed process maps and documentation
· Holding workshops/interviews with business departments to elicit requirements
· Standardisation and recommendations around operating procedures, controls and training needs
· Build a central resource for reference on our clients’ workflows and procedures
· Support new processes and changes with ‘as-is’ and ‘to-be’ documentation

EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES

• 2+ years of experience in Business Process Analyst role or similar
• Worked with complex, fast moving environments (ideally manufacturing or FMCG)
• Proven process modelling and analyst skills
• Good at eliciting information from a wide range of business users and backgrounds Key skills and technologies 1. Must have a. Experience with Business Process Model & Notation or UML b. Competence in documentation and mapping tools (Visio, draw.io or similar) 2. Beneficial a. Atlassian products (JIRA, Confluence) b. Familiarity with ERP, WMS or other integrated systems 3. To be trained a. Agile methodologies b. Fresh produce industry
