Ponderosa is a brand communication agency, part of the Audience Collective. We’re an ambitious digital-inspired brand communications agency. We work closely with our clients to define their proposition and place in the market, and then have the skills and experience in-house to bring the campaign alive in any channel – from a TV ad to Tweet!
We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join the team.
The main focus of this role is on outbound sales, working towards monthly activity and sales targets you will be using a structured method of contacting potential new clients. You will use your relationship building skills to quickly gain rapport with decision makers, discovering ways in which we can solve problems for them and add value to their business – becoming a true partner.
In addition to this, you will handle any incoming queries, exploring any needs and recommending the relevant solutions.
On a day to day basis our Business Development Manager will be:
* Managing both our existing sales pipeline and developing new business opportunities
* Working with our eCommerce experts to develop solid proposals
* Working alongside the Marketing Manager to ensure sales and marketing collateral is on-point and holds relevance
* Track sales and performance through the company’s CRM – HubSpot
* Manage short/medium and long-term sales pipelines and ensure pipeline values are on track with company targets
* Generate sales via phone, email and other web-based platforms
* Work with tech teams to develop and pitch strategic marketing plans
* Work across the group network and develop excellent relations with internal stakeholders

We are interested in speaking to people who can demonstrate some of the following:
* Some experience from within a B2B BD, sales or telesales environment
* A consultative approach to sales, with the ability to seal the deal
* Knowledge of online marketing is advantageous but not essential
* Good organisational skills especially timing and planning
* Confidence in presenting – whether virtually or in-person
* Strong stakeholder management ability

* Salary circa £25,000 plus performance related bonus
