Overview: Rapidly growing software house and credit reference agency
LendingMetrics is one of the UK’s leading providers of financial technology, focusing on decisioning software and data. We primarily supply services to UK clients, focusing on UK consumers, meaning we are as well insulated from Brexit fallout as a company can be. LendingMetrics has doubled revenue in the last 12 months, more than tripled profits, and forecasts continued growth year on year. . The company is privately owned, with strong positive cash-flow and very healthy cash reserves earmarked for on-going R&D and future projects.
We provide 3 core products. The first is a proprietary Auto Decisioning Platform (ADP) developed by our UK developers over a number of years.
Increasingly LendingMetrics is asked to supply foreign markets, where our ADP can outperform existing technology and be deployed to suit a large variety of applications.
Second is LMX, where through our long-standing partnership with Equifax, we re-sell and add value to their core data services.
Third and most exciting is our OpenBankVision (OBV) platform. OBV supplies bank statement data for credit risk assessments, with dozens of new clients attracted by compelling commercials and uses of the data.
We are seeking a Business Analyst (BA) and aspiring systems architect to help clients understand how our products can be deployed, designing the right structure for their consumer and decisioning processes.
LendingMetrics’ clients cover a huge range of consumer and commercial lending products, resulting in a broad range of approaches. Each approach requires detailed understanding and analysis.
The BA will become pivotal in helping our clients get live while using our services to their greatest potential as well as planning for future requirements.
A large part of the analysis expected of the BA is to design tailored decision engines, deployed into each client’s ADP or internal systems. Each engine makes use of data gathered by the client during the application process, as well as obtaining 3rd party data from a long list of external providers (including LMX and OBV).
Decision engines are increasingly focused on long and complex set of steps, referred to as a waterfall. Common structures include credit search rules, anti-fraud and money laundering (AML) checks, scorecards and machine learning algorithms. ADP is the perfect tool for clients to create the dynamic process structures and swiftly edit these on-the-fly.
LendingMetrics will provide comprehensive training, working closely with our CTO (Neil Williams), Sales Team and existing Analysts (for initial requirements), Developers (for delivery and to evolve features and capabilities) and Project Managers (organising the delivery of our services). The BA will also have regular and detailed discussions with our clients, both as part of on-boarding of new clients and ongoing support with existing clients. The BA will be required to digest and understand, in detail, any 3rd party data sources or services that the client may wish to use, assisting the client to design the best approach.
Currently our CTO (Neil Williams) and existing Analyst carry out much of the BA and architect role for the company and clients. The BA will be primarily working with our existing analyst and Neil who has been at the heart of LendingMetrics since our inception in 2010.
We expect to need multiple BA staff over the coming months and years, so this is an ideal opportunity for the right BA to grow with the company.
LendingMetrics offers a great working environment with an open and collaborative culture, competitive salary and benefits package (stakeholder pensions, flexible hours, high spec issued hardware, company phone optional, free drinks and fruit, optional additional holidays etc).
