Our Client are a Major Multinational FTSE 100 company. This is a rare and exciting role for a Mechanical and Electrical Building Services Engineer to work for an end user client and developer.
This role would typically suit a Graduate in Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services Engineering who has spent some time working on Mechanical and Electrical Building Services Engineering projects and is looking to move their career forward with a Client and Developer.
This position involves managing and developing Mechanical and Electrical Building Services engineering for the company in the South East UK and European arena and providing Mechanical and Electrical Project Management input and advice for new project developments.
Essentially this role involves the successful individual overseeing, from the client’s perspective, the Mechanical and Electrical Building Services Installation on the extensive range of hospitality projects which they undertake. This is not a role with a contractor or Main Contractor, this position is with the Client and developer and as such you will be overseeing the architect, main contractor etc. as the Client Mechanical and Electrical Project representative.
You will be supporting development and implementation of the engineering and fire life safety standards for company brands on major new buildings, including agreeing any location specific standards with the respective Brand Managers, managing the preparation of any location specific Design and Construction standards including liaising and coordinating with other international Design and Construction Regional departments.
We are looking for a technically strong, degree Qualified Building Services Engineer from either a Mechanical or Electrical Background, but with good understanding of both disciplines. We are looking for someone with a good design understanding who can review of building engineering services drawings with respect to construction standards across multiple projects, both new build developments and CAPEX projects.
