Salary : £45000 – £55000/annum

My client urgently requires a Bid Writer with a Construction background ideally, based in North London, who are from a multi-disciplined construction company delivering various projects within Commercial, Residential and Heritage sectors.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working for a building contractor with excellent organisational skills, strong IT skills with at minimum intermediate knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher and Adobe InDesign. In addition someone who is adaptable and capable of working under pressure, and who can bring their own ideas to the table to help improve and add interest to current bid strategies and tender preparation methods.
Key Responsibilities
– Planning and managing all aspects of the bid process and delivering presentations in line with the company’s brand, position and processes
– Build relationships with key stakeholders
* Plan and manage bids
* Manage direct reports
Technical Experience
*Professional with proven experience in bidding
* Ability to write compelling compliant content accurately in plain English and review the work of others
* Question analysis, breakdown, and answer planning
* Legal and commercial appreciation of RFI/PQQ//RFP/ITT content
The following are desirable but not fundamental – The quality of the person is the most important thing.
* Degree Educated
* APMP Foundation
