Bar/Waiting Staff
An exciting position has become available for a full-time Bar/Waiting Staff based in Formby. The successful candidate will earn £6.81-£9.16 per hour dependent upon age and experience. The positions will be 24 or 38 hour per week contracted.
This role is mainly bar work and the candidate will provide an effective support service in the food and beverage areas of the Clubhouse.
Role Requirements
The candidate must be 18 or over, to ensure they can legally work behind a bar
Previous experience desirable but not essential as full training will be given
Excellent communication skills
Able to work flexibly across the Clubhouse
Ability to multi-skill effectively
Commitment to high levels of service
Ability to work under pressure
Effective planning and organisational skills
Ability to work in a team and independently, as required
Role Responsibilities
To see that bar stocks are maintained and that all orders for replacement are ordered through the appropriate source.
To set up and lay tables, polish cutlery and glassware.
Ensure all food and beverage areas are kept to the highest cleanliness standards.
To make drink recommendations and prepare and serve them to the highest standard.
Complete administration tasks as required, printing menus, updating function information.
Serve in all food and beverage areas across the Clubhouse as required at the highest standard.
Comply with all food and beverage regulations.
Ensure all Clubhouse functions deliver the highest standard of service meeting member and guest expectations.
Deliver drinks, food and snacks as required to the buggy and serve professionally.
Place orders as required for bar replenishment.
Plan bar food menus.
Handle payments effectively ensuring that cash is stored safely, and tills are fully operational
Be accountable for and record all wastage according to Clubhouse system
Open and serve wines in a professional manner.
Report any equipment related issues to the Assistant Clubhouse Manager.
Perform all tasks associated with clean up after Clubhouse functions.
Change beer pumps and ensure cellar is stocked.
Cash up
You may also be required to help on the halfway house refreshment buggy
To undertake any other reasonable tasks to ensure the efficient operation of the Club House.
