Our Client, a Rosette standard busy gastro pub with rooms, are currently recruiting for an experienced Bar Manager. Because of its location a driver is required although there is live in also available if needed.
The Role:
* Plan, direct and oversee all bar operations including managing staff, ensuring product and service standards are met and implementing and maintaining procedures for maximum operating efficiency
* Run the bar independently
* Take care of the bar, stock room and cellar
* The candidate must have excellent knowledge of fine wines and cocktails
* Assess development needs, train and coach staff
* Delegate duties and tasks to staff to meet objectives and maximise resources
* Oversee the preparation and presentation of beverages to meet set standards
* Set and monitor quality and service standards for staff
* Organise and adjust staff rotas and schedules in accordance with available resources and labour regulations
* Resolve customer complaints promptly
* Monitor cleanliness and hygiene of bar area
