Bar Manager

D & R Recruitment are pleased to be working alongside a family run hotel which is based in Hertfordshire and currently holds 4AA stars. We are looking for an EVENTS BAR MANAGER.
You will be responsible for running the bars for the event department.
The role will include:
Ensuring excellent standards of cleanliness and hygiene
Overseeing staffing rotas- compiling, issuing, and ensuring the events are always fully staffed.
Dealing with customers queries and issues.
Being in charge of stock, re-ordering and ensuring that levels are always adequate.
Leading the shifts, training, and motivating the team to ensure that the required standards are being met.
Overall management of the bars daily
Requirements for Bar Manager:
* The successful candidate must have previous bar management experience – experience in a high-volume venue is highly desirable.
* Candidates must enjoy being a “hands-on” member of a team. All applicants must have a flexible approach to their work and be willing to work the hours required of the business.
* Our successful Bar Manager will work a variety of shifts, on any 5 days from 7, on any day of the year.
