Audit Senior
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £40000 – £55000/annum
Our prestigious client has an opportunity for an experienced Audit Senior to join their busy and driven team. The successful candidate will work closely with Audit Managers and Audit Assistants to ensure the audit work is handled efficiently and effectively from start to finish and is done in accordance with the Firm’s Audit Policy and other relevant policies and processes
This role will include but not be limited to;
* Completing the audit planning documentation for review.
* Arranging the timing of the audit work with the Audit Manager responsible for the client.
* Planning, scheduling, delegating and reviewing work allocated to the Audit Assistants and ensuring they are supported as necessary to complete their work to the standard required.
* Auditing the draft tax computation and tax provisions with supporting schedules and liaising with the tax staff to get these reviewed as required.
* Preparing the draft financial statements to a reasonable standard, free from quality control issues.
Essential requirements;
* Qualified or Part qualified CA (or equivalent).
* Practical experience of using software systems in the preparation of audit files, financial statements and audit working papers. Full training will be given on all software packages.
* Technical knowledge and practical experience of preparing accounts in accordance with FRS102. Experience of construction and charity sector accounting an advantage, but not essential
Salary will be dependent on experience.
