Salary : £25000 – £30000/annum

Our client based in the outskirts of Lincoln are looking for an Assistant Manager to join their team and assist the farm manager in the day to day running of a broiler breeder unit.

It is a brilliant opportunity for someone in the poultry industry looking for their next step.

The role will include:

* Ensuring the highest levels of bird welfare are maintained

* Alarm cover and support

* Egg collection

* Flock inspections and floor walks

* Holiday cover for Farm manager / Staff

* Feed Ordering

* Managing the farm in absence of the farm manager

Experience in the same role or similar is essential.

Hours between 5am-7am start – 3/4pm finish. 40-60 basic hours a week over up to 7 days a week. £25,000 – £30,000 depending on experience.
