Our client
Our client is a family-owned fruit farm who is passionate about regenerative and sustainable farming. The farm grows top fruit alongside farm diversification such as renewable energy, property and contracting services.
The role
Due to the business growing a role has become available for an Assistant Farm Manager. This role will be a very varied role and would suit someone who is willing to get in involved in lots of different areas of the business who also isn't scared of getting their hands dirty. You will be involved in managing seasonal teams, harvest and managing the crop. Someone who had a background in agriculture would be ideal also someone who was interested in regenerative farming.
The candidate
The ideal candidate would be a recent graduate or someone who was currently working on a fruit farm who wanted to get into Farm Management. Our client is willing to train so you don't need to have experience in fruit you could come from an Arable background as well. Someone who is passionate, ambitious and hardworking would suit this position perfectly.
