Assistant Accountant
Job Type : Permanent, Contract, Temporary, Full Time
Salary : £32000 – £35000/annum Good benefits package
South London based company with diverse business interests including property, are looking to recruit a part qualified accountant for a newly created position supporting the financial and management account teams. Experience within property could be an advantage but is not essential.
Key responsibilities:
* Expenditure Analysis
* Management and control company expenses
* Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
* Bank reconciliations and presentation of banking reports
* Assist with journal preparation for management accounts
* Record depreciation and cost information for the property portfolio
* Work closely with transaction teams, management and financial accounts and assist as necessary
* Develop various spreadsheet models and analytical reports
Required skillset
* First class communication skills
* Team player
* Strong level of Excel and other Microsoft products
* Experience of statutory accounting processes
* Some knowledge of treasury processes
