OLEO International a trading division of TA Savery & Co Limited has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Assembler who possess experience in assembling mechanical parts to join our Manufacturing team based in Coventry.
As a business we are an award-winning company and a World leader in the design and manufacture of safety critical equipment used in a wide range of applications within the Rail, Elevator and Industrial sectors.
Purpose of the Role:
The successful applicant will assist in the promotion, implementation and maintenance of product quality standards, ensuring customer satisfaction and productivity expectations are met.
Assembler Key Responsibilities:
* Assemble units following drawings and documentation to maintain high quality standards.
* Maintain equipment ensuring operational effectiveness through carrying out preventative maintenance.
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment, complying with company 5S processes.
* Complete quality control forms and comply with H&S processes.
Assembler Key Requirements:
* Previous mechanical assembly experience.
* The ability to operate hand, air and torque tools effectively.
* Experience of working in an engineering or manufacturing background.
* Time served in an engineering discipline would be advantageous.
* Ability to learn quickly and assimilate a wide variety of information.
* Possesses the ability to work well as part of a team as well as on an individual basis.
