We have and exciting opportunity for a Creative Artworker to support the Design & Print team for our client, an established business supplies and solutions company based in West Bromwich.
The main parts of the role include:
* Work closely with and support the Design & Print team as a whole to follow designs and artwork from their conception to final sign-off
* Curate and create designs across a range of formats using Adobe Creative Cloud and programs such as Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator
* Create visual concepts and retouch images to ensure they meet print and web standards, such as colour, typography and image libraries
* Correct and format documents before they're sent to the printers
* Ensure artwork is consistent, accurate and follows any brand guidelines
* Impose variable print files for all types of print
* Outputting designs to a variety of different formats of media and file types
* Visualising finished ideas as product mockups
* Set up, manage and archive accurate artwork files and supply to relevant stakeholders
* Manage and update an in-house file library
* Carry out proof checking prior to print
* Create web assets to size and scale
* Check printers' proofs
* Adapt existing artwork to alternative layouts and/or formats
* Provide skilled and technically precise input and support to our team and customers
* Liaise with external printers to ensure deadlines are met and act as a point of contact for the Design & Print team
* Keep up to date with the latest design trends and recognise their role within a commercial environment
* Ensure all artwork produced meets client and brand guidelines
* Provide artistic direction on projects and strategic planning, as well as creative and promotional marketing services
* Provide high level of customer service
* Source products to meet the customer’s brief
* Take control of the Group email marketing platform, plan, create and schedule email designs
* Work alongside our Interiors division to offer advice and creative input in any fit-out projects and generate photoshop mockups where necessary
* Undertake administrative tasks when necessary such as quoting, order processing etc.
REQUIREMENTS
* A creative thinker and excellent communicator who can translate customer initiatives and requirements into innovative and successful promotional solutions whether that be via traditional print marketing, digital, promotional products or signage
* An individual committed to exceeding customer expectations and building long-term relationships
* A go-getter with accuracy and intricate attention to detail and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
* Excellent analytical, organisational, time management prioritisation skills
* Experience working in a marketing, web, signage or promotional product world would be a advantageous
