Personalisation Operative (Engraver)

Big Ant Group are currently working with a well-established online retailer in Totnes to help with the demands of their festive orders.
We are looking for an experienced Machine Operative / Engraver to carry-out personalisation on bespoke gifts.
Candidates with experience in using computer software such as Illustrator / InDesign / Photoshop would also offer good transferable skills for this role. Applicants must also hold a GCSE or A Level qualification in English to ensure precision of grammar and punctuation on items.
The role will involve working from order sheets and selecting the relevant fonts and letters / numbers. The ideal candidate will have a good-eye for detail and have a flexible approach to work.
Working hours will vary. Initially, you will be required to work Monday to Friday, 8am-4pm. As the season picks up, your hours will adjust to 10 hour shifts across 4 days, starting between 7am and 8am. There will also be requirements to work either a Saturday or a Sunday from the end of November until Christmas (4 weeks)
