Senior Architectural Technician
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £36000 – £42000/annum
Senior Architectural Technician required to join a busy, North-Wales design studio as they enter a particularly busy period for the remainder of 2021 and into the year ahead.
This Architectural practice are located near Wrexham, they are home to over 10 Architectural members of staff and work on an interesting mixture of projects across a wide range of design sectors. A typical day here could see members of staff working on Education, Commercial or Residential projects dependent on the specific demand at the time. They like work using AutoDesk software including REVIT & AutoCAD; several of their current staff can demonstrate advanced level technical skills. There is scope for training and development with specific software alongside a gradual introduction to new projects/sectors for new hires that are willing to learn.
We are looking for an Architectural Technician to join the Wrexham office. This person could be intermediate or Senior level, preferably with a minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience. We are looking for someone well-rounded and with a wide array of skills and a good personality; someone that enjoys being part of an office, enjoys being on site and can monitory their own time/workload when working from home. Relevant Architectural qualification preferred (Degree, HNC, HND).
Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role.
Proven experience working on UK-based projects.
Experience working within one of the following sectors: Residential, Education, Commercial, Industrial.
Ability using either AutoCAD or REVIT software (training can be provided).
Confidence and with an ability to present well.
Excellent communication skills.
