Architect job opportunity with a multi-disciplinary consultancy based in Northallerton, North Yorkshire.

We are looking for a talented individual with passion and ambition to thrive in this exciting new job role in a thriving multi-disciplinary property consultancy.

This company are reputable and well-known across the North of England. Their multi-disciplinary offering allows them to provide a full spectrum of design and construction consultancy solutions to their multi-sector clients. Their experienced directorship team have leas this company to unprecedented success in the past 10 years and there is no sign of slowing down. They have an incredibly busy pipeline of work expected to kick off before the end of 2021 and in light of this they are looking to hire an experienced Architect to join the team.

As part of a multi-disciplinary team, it's important that new hires are comfortable working in a collaborative environment and liaising with colleagues in other parts of the business. It's important that you are comfortable taking a lead on projects and are able to offer assistance and guidance to others within the company. You will be producing detailed design & technical information for use on site using AutoCAD, Photoshop and [Ideally] REVIT alongside general day-to-day duties like attending meetings and visiting site.

The projects are predominantly Residential to include new builds and regeneration schemes, they also work in the Education sector, projects here are extensions and some new build primary / secondary sites.

We are ideally hoping to hear from ARB/RIBA qualified Architects with a minimum of 3 years practical experience post RIBA Part III.

Work as a member of the Architectural Team within a multi-disciplinary organisation.
Act as a lead consultant liaising with the client and coordinating the design.
Produce feasibility, planning, building regulation & Construction information.
Produce schedules of work and specifications using NBS software.
General understanding of JCT (traditional D&B) and NEC contracts.
Visit sites and attend client and contractor meetings, carry out inspections and surveys when required.
Carry out designer duties to meet current CDM regulation requirements.
Complete work to defined business processes, standards and time frames. Experience & Knowledge

Experience across all RIBA planed stages of work on UK Projects.
Work under minimal supervision and completes some tasks using own judgement, but overall supervision is required.
Experience of working closely with other disciplines to produce coordinated deliverables.
Good IT and Presentation skills – REVIT AutoCAD, PhotoShop
A keen eye for detail and a careful accurate approach. Salary depending on experience £35,000 – £40,000 per annum
