Excellent opportunity for an Interior Designer to join an award winning creative design studio based in Warwickshire. Due to a significant increase in work load, the practice are seeking an additional Interior Designer to facilitate further growth throughout the practice.
The practice have successfully built up an established and enviable client portfolio since their inception. A portfolio that includes clients in areas such as; Workplace/Office Spaces, Commercial, and some Hospitality work. The studio have won numerous awards since their inception, which is attributed to their talented and hard working employee base. The practice is made up of Interior Designers of all levels and backgrounds, and will give the Interior Designer applying for this position the chance to develop their skills under an experienced Senior Designer.
As an Interior Designer entering this studio, you will be using your creative design flair to assist with production of high quality designs in the Workplace sector. You will ideally have prior experience working on related projects in your past experience, and will hold approximately 5 years of industry experience.
Other responsibilities/skills of the Interior Designer will include the following:
Work autonomously and as part of a team, delivering creative design projects.
Be able to creatively space plan and illustrate conceptual thinking.
Translation and development of conceptual planning into fully coordinated schemes and working drawings.
Accompany Senior Designers to presentations and client meetings.
Attending site meetings.
Liaising with external contractors and suppliers.
Software proficiency in the following would also be highly advantageous:
AutoCAD
Vectorworks
3D SketchUp
Photoshop
In-Design
Office Suite
NBS
For your efforts, you will be offered a salary in the region of £26,000-£32,000 per annum (dependant on experience), alongside a competitive benefits package.
