Job Type : Permanent, Full Time

Salary : £35000 – £50000/annum

Conrad Consulting are working alongside an award-winning environmental consultancy to secure the services of a Landscape Architect/Landscape Planner and join their team based in Bristol.

With an expanding portfolio of challenging and high-profile projects including the design and assessment of renewable energy projects, landscape character and sensitivity assessments, green infrastructure strategies and working with protected landscapes – this role can offer an experienced Landscape Architect a variety of interesting projects with which to put their stamp on.

This opportunity will be suited to an experienced Landscape Architect/Planner who is seeking the opportunity for progression whilst working alongside an ambitious team.

The role will include:

Project Managing and leading the delivery of a wide range of projects fulfilling the role of Project Manager, under the directorship of Project Directors.
Providing high quality reporting, and ensuring the deliverables meet our highest quality standards.
Line Managing and mentoring our consultant (graduate) level colleagues.
Liaising with and forming a key point of contact for clients, and internal and external team members supporting business development initiatives in line with company strategy.
Contributing to tenders and pricing exercises and driving the development of our growing portfolio of work.

Therefore, it is essential that applicants can demonstrate experience in managing and delivering projects across the following areas:

Landscape and Visual Impact Assessment (LVIA)
Landscape Character Assessment (LCA)
Landscape Sensitivity Studies (LSS)
Green Infrastructure Strategies
Assessment and management of protected landscapes
Planning for future landscapes and responding to climate change
Landscape design principles and guidance
Landscape planning and management of the UK's post Brexit agricultural landscapes

Other Requirements Include:

Educated with a relevant landscape related qualification at degree or post graduate level
Excellent report-writing skills
Experience of managing the outputs of others, ensuring they are of high quality
Experience of being client facing and working with other external team members
Proficiency in the use of computer software to prepare high quality reports and tenders including Word and Excel
Full UK driving licence and experience of undertaking field work
Sound experience of tendering and work winning
