Due to our continued growth in increasing Revit & BIM led educational furniture market, we are now seeking a full-time BIM Coordinator to work in a vibrant, culture-led business.

We provide a comprehensive and detailed design service to our clients, including space planning, preparing 3D models and visuals, interior design schemes, FFE packages and bespoke furniture.

The role we are recruiting for is a BIM Coordinator to work mainly across the education sector. The design team currently comprises of a team of sixteen.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years' experience in using Revit within a construction or furniture company. The role is technically based and will involve maintaining and implementing the Revit family library and Revit standards within the company. Ensuring the team members are trained and adhere to the processes of the company BIM standards.

Keeping knowledge up to date with current trends and BIM developments within the industry. The successful candidate must take pride in their work and be able to perform under pressure and to tight deadlines. A team player is essential.

REVIT Responsibilities include but not are limited to:

Produce, review, and update families.
Monitor the creation of project specific families and update to the main library if required on future projects.
Update the Revit Project Template.
Review processes and tools to improve processing accuracy and speeds.
Provide Training and Technical Support to other team members. Project Design Responsibilities include but not are limited to:

Check FFE designs are accurate, practical and achievable.
Cross reference designs against the clients brief & needs.
Produce drawing sheets to communicate designs clearly to the client.
Highlight any areas where the brief cannot be met.
Check quotations match against designs in regard to specification and quantities.
Ensure project supporting information such as product books, quotations, schedules, and trackers are aligned.
Track project revisions ensuring they are captured in supporting documentation.
