Conrad Consulting are delighted to present this outstanding opportunity for an Associate Architect / Associate Director level individual to join an AJ100 Architectural practice, within their regional office in Birmingham city centre.
The practice feature prominently in the AJ100 list of Architectural practices nationwide, with 3 main locations in London, Leicestershire and Birmingham. The Birmingham office is relatively newly established (approx. 3 years old), and contains a multi-disciplinary team predominantly made up of architectural and surveying staff. The practice currently falls under the leadership of Directors in the Leicestershire office, but the intention is now to bring on an Associate Architect or Associate Director level Architect to effectively head up and develop the Birmingham office.
This position would suit a fully qualified Architect that holds a wealth of experience in all aspects of a role you would encapsulate in an Associate/Associate Director level capacity. The basics would include; project running, being the lead Architect/Consultant, team leadership, and experience of working at most/all RIBA stages. The finer details would see you being an Architect with a wealth of knowledge of the West Midlands market, ideally with contacts in the industry. Eventually there is the intention for the individual filling this position to be pivotal in business generation, so the aforementioned knowledge and contacts within the market would be highly desirable.
The practice operate in varied sectors, with particular focus on the Residential sector at present. Company-wide, the practice work in other areas such as Extra Care, Student Accommodation, Education and Commercial schemes. The practice use ArchiCAD and Revit are the main software packages used, so knowledge and experience of using one/both of these packages is essential.
Other skills and qualifications of the Associate Architect / Associate Director as follows:
Fully qualified Architect with UK recognised qualifications.
ARB registered / RIBA chartered
Highly experienced in project running and being the lead architect/consultant
Knowledge of the West Midlands Architectural market.
Desire to progress in your career and reach Director level in the medium term.
