We are currently seeking an Architectural Technologist to join a leading practice based in the centre of Leeds.
With a forward-thinking and dedicated team of 21 staff, they are well known for the specialist work they do within the commercial and retail sectors.
Their office is within a highly accessible location with several public transport opportunities if you do not own a UK driving license.
The practice is led by the founding Partners of over 25 years, and they are recruiting for an Architectural Technologist with a technology degree – or equivalent – that is eager to gain MCIAT and/or progress efficiently within their career. This RIBA Chartered practice focuses on Commercial and Industrial projects and has constructed stores such as Aldi and Lidl as well as retail parks like Hexham and Belgrave Retail Park located in Stanningley.
The proficient team have obtained a solid portfolio that has strong expectations to remain growing at speed, and you could be a part of the business evolution!
As an Architectural Technologist, you are expected to have experience with Commercial and Industrial projects in order to deliver construction drawings and tender packs. Your job role will involve working on the conception and technical design, as well as the development and detailing of construction technology. While working as an Architectural Technologist, you will receive opportunities to meet and network with other professionals and potential clients.
The Position: Architectural Technologist
* Obtain a technology degree, or equivalent – eager to progress/gain MCIAT.
* Compliant with building regulations.
* Previous experience with commercial and industrial projects.
* Ideally, have knowledge of Vectorworks.
* Carry out risk assessments during the design stage.
* Motivated and a key team player – progression is a key opportunity.
* Prepare and design proposals – willingness to take on responsibility.
* Liaising and networking with (potential) clients – communication skills are vital.
The salary for this position is £26,000 – £35,000 depending on previous experience.
