The COMPANY
Our client is a supplier of high-quality bespoke food and drink packaging, baskets, hampers, vases, pots etc for well-known high street retailers in the giftware sectors such as John Lewis and Marks & Spencer.
The ROLE
This is an exciting role involving developing on-trend houseware products for household name retailers.
The successful Product Designer will be required to:
*To look at existing designs and to adapt and modify to client specification.
*Understand a brief from a client and to be creative.
*To visit trade shows, gift fairs and retail stores to spot trends.
*Use mood boards.
*Liaising with clients to co-ordinate design.
*To visit oversea trade fairs and suppliers.
The CANDIDATE
Our client is looking for Packaging Designer applicants with the following experience:
*Experience of working to and understanding a brief.
*You must have knowledge of CAD programmes such as Auto Cad.
*You will be comfortable with Adobe and rendering.
*Experience of creative design.
*To be up to date with the latest trends
*Real attention to detail with the ability to critique your own work.
*A problem solver and able to bring things to land effectively
*Excellent communication and customer service skills
