Are you a confident, motivated Part 1 Architectural Assistant seeking a new opportunity that will enhance your Architectural skills?
We are currently recruiting for a Part 1 Architectural Assistant to join an innovative, vibrant Architectural Practice that is located in Central York – a 10-minute walk from York Train Station. You will be joining a talented team of 18 that utilise Revit as their main software. The award-winning Practice focuses on projects like Retirement and Healthcare, but also take on projects within the residential, commercial and restoration sectors.
This RIBA Chartered Practice obtain a strong pipeline of demanding work, often in a fast-paced environment. In 2019, the Practice became an International Architecture Practice – Melbourne Office, proving their rapid business growth. Due to this, they are seeking an Architectural Assistant that brings creative ideas and strong presentation abilities to their York office.
The team in Melbourne work closely with their UK office to coordinate working across all different phases of projects (feasibility, planning, technical design, and construction drawings), meaning the time zones allow for a 24-hour office, which may become beneficial when it comes to working tight deadlines!
As a Part 1 Architectural Assistant, you will be expected to have previous experience of using Revit, AutoCAD, and Sketchup. You will have the ability to work on your own and to achieve tasks to deadlines. The practice is seeking a Part 1 that has strong presentation abilities, that can start ASAP to join their committed team. This practice really values their staff and are on the lookout for a Part 1 that enjoys their work and is motivated to enhance their skills and get stuck into projects.
The position:
* Previous experience in using Revit and AutoCAD
* Part 1 Qualified
* Ability to work on your own and to deadlines.
* Able to use Sketchup.
The salary for this position is £17K – £20K (DOE).
