A highly reputable Housing Developer seeks an adept Assistant Landscape Architect to join their team in Letchworth.

As an Assistant Landscape Architect you will be responsible for assisting with the production of residential landscape strategies, concepts and masterplans to support the ongoing planning applications for schemes of various sizes across the South East & East of England.

You will also assist in the production of detailed landscape design work and drawings, including maintenance plans, construction and planting plans, illustrations and visualisations – working closely and collaboratively with members of the team and other departments to see these projects through to detailed design and implementation on site.

Assistant Landscape Architect Requirements:

Diploma/Degree in Landscape Architecture ideally with a minimum 2 years' post-qualification experience in residential landscape architecture
Working towards, or have a desire to become, a Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute (CMLI)
Proven ability on AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign & Illustrator)
Knowledge of Sketch Up would be an advantage but is not a requirement
Strong graphic, concept, sketching and presentation skills
Excellent horticulture and plant knowledge and an interest in ecology
Enthusiasm to contribute to the continuous development of the company's landscape specification and design quality for new developments
Passion and advocacy for landscape and the environment
UK driving licence

The successful Assistant Landscape Architect can expect to receive a highly competitive salary and benefits package including a Car or Car Allowance.

The salary is likely to be in the region of £26-£29k
