An award-winning residential developer seeks an Architectural Technical Coordinator to join its management team based in Norfolk.

Over the years, our client has managed to forge a fantastic reputation for designing stylish contemporary homes with high specification and outstanding quality. Due to continued growth and success within the housing sector there now exists a need to add an adept Architectural Technical Coordinator to their close-knit team operating out of their office in Thetford.

This is an important hire for the firm and as such, they are looking for someone who will see this as a long-term appointment. It is a brilliant opportunity for someone with high ambitions and a drive to really leave their stamp on a company whilst becoming an essential part of the future growth of the business.

The role would be ideal for someone who can demonstrate extensive experience operating within the residential new-build sector either with an Architectural Practice or House Developer.

Role & Responsibilities:

Co-ordination of technical and architectural content from external design consultants.
Co-ordination of third parties in relation to the overall development design, including local authorities, building control, NHBC, SAP assessors, and robust details.
Obtaining relevant information from sub-contractors/suppliers to discharge NHBC/Building control conditions.
Commission, co-ordination and checking of specialist suppliers designs and co-ordinate the integration of these into the working drawings.
Liaison with site managers to resolve on-site issues.
Assist with the selection of sub-contractors and material purchasing.
Assist in the continued technical development of our house types and specification.

Architectural Technical Coordinator Requirements:

Relevant technical qualification (HNC, HND, Degree etc.)
Member of CIAT preferable
Demonstrable experience operating upon residential projects, ideally within the new-build sector
Highly knowledgeable of national standards and Building Regs
Ability to use AutoCAD
Team player with excellent interpersonal skills and able to work to strict deadlines, possess a high degree of self-motivation

The successful Architectural Technical Coordinator will receive a highly competitive salary, likely to be in the range of £45-£50k (dependant on experience), plus company benefits.
