VFX Editor
Job Type : Contract, Full Time
Salary : £250 – £275/day
An industry-leading creative digital agency are on the lookout for a VFX Editor to join the team on a freelance basis for at least a month in order to assist the Editorial department on their current work, including projects across film, broadcast and gaming.

The client in question are a specialist agency who share a unique approach to VFX and digital experiences. They utilise expertise from different industries, blending knowledge of the latest tech with innovative design techniques in order to create compelling experiences for an eclectic mix of clients. With an exciting mix of new projects in the pipeline, they are looking to expand the team in order to account for this.
VFX Editor Role
As VFX Editor, you will serve as the key link between clients, in-house production teams and suppliers in order to appropriate work with the artists on the team. You will be responsible for managing all the internal edits of sequences and shots, overseeing ingestion and processing of all client material received, and liaise with the artists to determine workflow and shot details.
VFX Editor Requirements:
Previous experience in an editorial environment
Experience specific to the VFX industry is a massive benefit
Strong communication
Shotgun experience
General knowledge of VFX delivery formats
Knowledge of Avid, Premiere and Nuke
In return you will receive a daily rate of £250 – £275 and experience working on a really exciting project with a highly-talented team.
The interview process will consist in an initial call with the Executive Producer to discuss the project, workflow, upcoming projects and your previous experience.
