Howdens Joinery are looking for a Graphics Technician based within our Howden office in Yorkshire.  In your role you will support the department manager in the generation of product installation and user guides for products across all category areas, as well as supporting the Howdens Supply operation with graphics and innovative communication material, including the output of presentation material.

In your role as a Graphics Technician, you will produce installation booklets and user guides for our appliance products.  You will also work with the product development and technical development teams in the creation of assembly and installation leaflets and manuals for all product category areas.  You will be accountable for the generation of the following:

– Assembly Instruction Leaflets
– Installation manuals
– User Booklets
– Key graphical documents
– Presentation graphics and boards
– HOW2 documents
– Packaging & Product Identification Manuals
– Line Illustrations
– Animations and QR codes

Key skills and experience required:

– Strong communication skills
– Strong data administration skills
– Proficient and qualified in the Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Adobe Illustrator and InDesign packages
– Strong Microsoft Office 365 experience specifically with advanced PowerPoint skills
– SharePoint knowledge
– Graphic design background with an eye for detail
– Proficient and qualified in 2D & 3D drawing packages, specifically in 3D Studio Max with a skill set in animation.
