An exciting opportunity for an experienced Finance Analyst to be part of a fast-paced team, reporting into the Finance Director. Our client is a Global luxury Fashion company that has some of the Worlds most famous Brands within their group. The role will offer very exciting exposure, challenge and to be part of a passionate team.
Your role
Supporting the Europe finance control team and monthly close process, which includes posting journal entries, performing reconciliations, and closing the legal entity books
Reviewing and challenging journals received from the FP&A team
Supporting the finance managers in their day to day activities
Assisting in maintaining and improving our internal controls and processes as the finance function continues to grow
Building close working relationships with the FP&A team and cross business partners
Supporting the wider finance team on current initiatives
Ad hoc analysis.Key skills required
A Bachelor's Degree
ACA/ACCA / CIMA Qualified/Part qualified
Minimum of 3 years+ accounting experience at multinational public company or major accounting firm
Strong technical accounting skills
Experience with US GAAP – Desirable
Strong Excel Skills
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Self-starter, takes initiative, highly motivated
Ability to multi task and be flexible regarding changing priorities and tight deadlines
Ability to perform critical analysis and thinking, prioritise and problem solve
Excellent verbal and written communication skillsAn outstanding professional will have…
Retail experience
European language skills
A good level of SAP experience
