Conrad Consulting are delighted to have partnered with a highly regarded design-led York based Medium sized Chartered Architectural practice to source an Associate Level Architect to join their expanding talented team.

This business has steadily grown in recent years and now a boasts a talented team of 20 which is made up of Directors, Architects, Assistants and Technologists, they are regarded as having one of the best portfolio's of project work in the Yorkshire region. As such, they have forged a formidable reputation for delivering notable projects specifically within the High End bespoke Residential and Leisure / Hospitality (hotels) and commercial sectors, the majority of these projects are based in York and London typically up to £10m in value, the projects in London are classed as "Super Prime Residential" with most of the builds and refurbishments being in the Mayfair and Chelsea area. The Hotel projects are of a boutique nature with the focus being on contemporary design and creating the wow factor, hence the need for a designer.

Their next strategic hire is for a challenge-hungry Associate level Architect who wants to work within a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment where they can really showcase their creative side, get stuck into some significant projects and hold ambitions to become a shareholding Director. You will project lead of some rather stunning projects and be responsible for managing a wider projects delivery team which will be made up of assistants and Technologists.

Often seen a luxury item, our client also places a big emphasis regardless of seniority in securing talent that has a passion and creative flair for design, someone who can take unique and design led concepts and ideas to the drawing board.

Associate Architect Requirements

* RIBA Qualified Project Architect with a minimum of 7-10 years post qualification experience
* Demonstrable experience of working across all RIBA stages, particularly 0-2
* Passionate and creative designer with flair and imagination in abundance.
* Able to present information clearly to both internal and external stakeholders

* REVIT proficiency would be highly desirable and a proficiency in AutoCAD.
* Passion for design and interest in developments within the Architecture industry.

* Capable of producing accurate tender packages.

* Some pervious team leadership responsibilities.

* Some previous experience of High end Residential or Leisure / hospitality projects.

* Locally well connected, excellent client facing & networking skills.

* Ambitions to progress to Director level and play a key role in the running of a busy practice.

The successful Associate Architect can expect to receive all the support needed whilst commanding a highly competitive salary depending on experience between £45,000 – £50,000 per annum + extensive benefits as follows –
