Graphic Designer

We are now recruiting for a Graphic Design assistant to support a growing Marketing team in Alton Hampshire
This exciting new role is the ideal starting point for a graduate or an individual who has studied or worked in a graphics capacity in the past and who is looking to build a career within this area.
The successful candidate will be comfortable with Adobe software including Photoshop and preferably InDesign.
You will also play a vital role in the company’s regular mailouts to customers, taking on the responsibility of constructing them and working collaboratively with multiple teams to ensure they are sent out to a high standard and on time. For this, knowledge of the workings of MailChimp is desirable but not essential.
In addition to creative and technical skills, we are looking for a people person who is a good fit within the Marketing team and who is able to bring in a new perspective..
There is a strong team work ethic , meaning the appropriate can-do attitude and conduct and professionalism are every bit as important as technical ability. Due to the number of products they work with, the successful candidate will have to demonstrate a high degree of organization and planning to succeed in the role, along with accuracy and attention to detail.
Technical skills required:
* Excellent ability within Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Publisher and PowerPoint).
* Good ability in Adobe Photoshop and InDesign.
* Strong computer literacy.
* Commercial awareness.
Personal skills required:
* Strong work ethic.
* Very well organised to manage multiple projects
* Able to work at a fast pace, sometimes with little or no notice of changes.
* Good communication skills and able to manage expectations.
* Happy to work both within a team and individually.
* Attention to detail.
This will start off on a temporary basis, there is a strong chance that the work would lead to a fixed term contract or even permanent work if the assignment goes well.
Hours : 37.5 hrs per Week Mon – Fri
Salary : £8.91 per hour
